Visit the Two Oceans Aquarium (Waterfront, Cape Town)

A trip to the Two Oceans Aquarium

The last time I visited the Two Oceans Aquarium was on the day that inspired the creation of this Blog. What I didn't mention in my first post was that on that day I applied for an annual membership card, which means for an entire year I have access to the Two Oceans Aquarium by showing the my card! I recommend this for anyone who enjoys watching ocean life and feels that they would be making a trip to the Two Ocean Aquarium more than twice in one year (I myself could spend everyday there), because it is definitely worth it. Entrance normally costs R118 for an adult whereas the membership card costs R324 for full year access. I was so excited when I got my card lol and it came with 4 10% discount vouchers for any four people I decide to bring along! How awesome is that? I felt so legit taking this card out today and just swiping my way in lol that 'I own the place ' kind of feeling. And I walked around taking videos which can be viewed on Instagram (you can view them by searching the hashtag #SAGuideBlog) and pictures which can be viewed below, so that you can get a glimpse of the beauty this building holds before trying it yourself! P.S - all details on hours, costs and website below this post :)

Visit the Iziko South African Museum (Cape Town)

A trip to the Iziko South African Museum

After my delicious lunch at the Company's Garden restaurant I walked over to the Iziko South African Museum, because I've always wanted to explore it alone (It's just better walking it at your own pace in your own space) and as I'm taking my purse out to pay the usually R30 entrance charge I hear "There is no charge for entrance today, because it is Africa day!" my ears just love that kind of thing!!? lol And that was a great start to an awesome adventure. I missed the 2 o'clock show in the planetarium, but I absolutely loved walking through the museum learning about some history and all the different names given to each animal in our world, there are so many different types, and we get to compare our height to theirs with all the life-sized figures... in a much safer way lol below you can view some pictures I took inside the Museum and all the details you need to know on times and costs to follow :)

Walk through the Company's Garden & grab a bite at the Company's Garden Restaurant (Cape Town)

A trip to the Company's Garden & Restaurant

Yesterday I was in the mood for another spontaneous adventure and decided I would just go wherever the wind blew me lol 'cause life... and it ended up blowing me all the way to Cape Town's Company Gardens. I spent the whole morning walking through our bright green gardens and then grabbed something healthy to eat at the Company's garden Restaurant (was my first time there) I took a seat outside and enjoyed the majestic view while eating a delicious salad, Eating greens while surrounded by greens lol made me feel so cleansed. After that I walked over to the very nearby Iziko Planetarium, I lost track of time and missed the show but enjoyed taking a walk through the museum, very peaceful and interesting. (Which I will share in the next post) I highly recommend this adventure to all who enjoy nature, animals and are interested in learning more about the galaxy. Below are some pictures of yesterday's adventure and if you would like to view some short videos of all these locations then you can view them on my Instagram account Here. Details open hours and costs below this post :)
